Diplodocus coloring pages

Diplodocus was a herbivorous dinosaur that lived around 150 million years ago, during the Jurassic period. It was one of the largest dinosaurs that ever lived, with a length of over 25 meters and an estimated weight of over 10 tons. Diplodocus was known for its long tail and elongated neck, which enabled it to feed on leaves and branches high up on the ground.

The diplodocus was first discovered in Wyoming in 1877 by American explorer Earl Douglass. Since then, numerous diplodocus specimens have been discovered in other parts of the USA, including Colorado and Montana.

Diplodocus was a dinosaur with short forelimbs and long hind limbs, giving it a giraffe-like appearance. Unlike most other dinosaurs, Diplodocus had a very flexible spine, enabling it to move quickly despite its imposing size.
